Give It Up For Comic Relief
Give It Up For Comic Relief is an all-star concert, featuring top music and comedy acts. Launched by comedian Russell Brand, the event is being held to raise money for people affected by drug and alcohol addiction. Top music acts on the bill include Jake Bugg, Paloma Faith, Noel Gallagher, Kasabian, Jessie J, Rizzle Kicks, Emeli Sande and Nicole Scherzinger.

The Big Write Festival of Children’s Literature
Discover’s 5th annual festival of children’s literature has a packed programme of story sessions, workshops, book signings and other events. The closing weekend sees a range of events and activities with illustrators and authors such as Polly Dunbar, and Dirty Bertie creator David Roberts and Horrible Histories’s Martin Brown. Crazy Science Workshop

Shrek the Musical
